Rabbit Hole Gallery hosted a Postcard Diaries show in April 2008, their 2nd Mothersbaugh art show in 2 years. Mucho thanks to the Rabbit Hole Posse: Bethany, Joe, and Rene, for having us back in Atlanta to show Mark's artwork.
The Rabbit Hole exhibited Mark's Beautiful Mutants in 2007, and due to popular demand, decided to follow up with a show of his Postcard Diaries a year later.
20 of Mothersbaugh's framed Postcard Diaries prints were featured in the 2008 ATL show, which filled the walls of Rabbit Hole Gallery with bright bursts of color.
Mark Mothersbaugh was not able to attend in person, but we were able to host a live video conference with him from his office in Los Angeles. Gallery visitors who showed up early were able to chat with him for a few minutes at a time. Mark had fun sharing a few of his recent Postcard Diary drawings, as well as a sampling of his odd collection of trinkets in his Mutato Muzika office.
Special thanks to Bethany, Rene, Joe, Roxxi, Todd, Elmo, Justin and his vegatable-oil burning tour bus, and all the friendly folks we met this time around in Atlanta.
