Rabbit Hole Gallery is a fairly new gallery in Atlanta, having only been around for a year and a half, and is owned & operated by Bethany Marchman (See Bethany's fantastic artwork here).
The Rabbit Hole is
housed inside a fantastic split-level room, with the gallery space below and Bethany's art studio upstairs.
Bethany's partners in The Rabbit Hole are Joe Cruz, co-owner, and Rene Arriagada, a local Atlanta artist who has been responsible for a multitude of interesting art projects for years (stickers, stenciling, tees, etc.)
20 of Mothersbaugh's framed Beautiful Mutant prints were featured in the Rabbit Hole Gallery art show. A few were prints shown during Mark Mothersbaugh's 2004 and 2005 tours.
Mark Mothersbaugh couldn't attend the reception himself, unfortunately. He was with his wife and newly adopted baby in Los Angeles preparing for the upcoming DEVO tour of Europe later in June....but he sends his spudly luv to Atlanta spuds, and hopes he can attend the next show.
Special thanks to Bethany, Rene, Joe, Justin, Eric, Todd, the tour bus used by Atlanta's Elevado, and all the friendly folks I was able to spend time with in Atlanta. I'm going to make my way down there again soon...!
